Congrats to Karyn, our first winner of 2013! Anyone else besides me forget it was the last night of the month? ;)

Ben did really well at his appt. He was excited to see the "eye doctor" - we can introduce the word "optometrist" in later years - and didn't complain about any of the testing or waiting (which was short, even considering we showed up early). Pretty proud of my shy, strong-willed guy for having a fit-free trip. ;)
Tim will be seen in May. I'll try to arrange it for an after-school appt so he doesn't have to miss anything.
Angie, I looked up Land Girls on Wikipedia. Didn't want to see too many spoilers, but I got a fair idea that I'd like to try out the show. :)
I'm making meatloaf for supper, probably also mashed potatoes and a simple garden salad.
