Good Morning Beautiful Ladies -

I hope this note finds all of you well. I am doing well. I know it's been a while since I have been around. I can't remember the last time I updated y'all.

In March I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Between the middle of March to the middle of April I spent in the hospital trying to get the epilepsy under control. Fast forward till now........I am now 63 days seizure free!!! Thanks to God and the medication I am on!  As long as I stay seizure free I can get my drivers license back on November 1st.

Coming up this Sunday will be 2 months since my divorce was final.

Yesterday I was granted social security/disability. This is a huge answer to prayer.

I am still living in my mobile home that I have been living in for that last 5 years. My dog Lelu is doing great. She is now my Service Dog, so I can take her everywhere with me. I had to find a new home for Freedom and Potter(2 of my kitties). I just wasn't able to clean the sandbox anymore and they shed so much and Lelu is so allergic to cat hair. It was a good thing. They went together with the same family. The 14 year old girl was so excited and the kitties seems to really like her right away. I still have Mitzy, but she spends more time outside than she does inside.

I am staying active in church and also a women's bible study once a week at another church.  I want to find some place to volunteer at near where I live. I live right in downtown. So I am sure I can find somewhere. I would really love to volunteer at  the Cat Haven Rescue place, but the closest bus stop is a half mile from the place on a busy highway, so that would not be good.

Well, I have written a HUGE book. Sorry about that. I miss y'all deeply. Now that I have internet back( haven't had it for over 6 months) hopefully I will be able to be on more.

When we bought our house 10 years ago, I want to a shelter that very week to get myself a kitty. We walked out with two from the same litter. :smileyhappy: Then I fell in love with a calico that was in the shelter section of Petsmart. Hence the three kitties at my house. :smileyhappy:

Thank goodness for DVDs and mothers to record stuff for you! And don't feel bad about not writing back, because I forgot to pester you with more emails, anyway. Sieve brain... :smileywink:

Good thinking on getting the folks at the shelter to agree not to let you adopt pets if you're able to volunteer. It's hard not to want to rescue every pet! Our cat came to us because we wanted to save one kitten from having to go to a shelter, but we did draw the line at one. :smileywink: (I'm glad I heard that our SPCA has a good placement rate, so I don't feel bad for the other kittens from the same litter.)

Hey Angie -

LOL just reading the way you typed my name made me giggle!!! LOL Thanks for the prayers. I truly appreciate them. Things have been rough, but day by day God has been getting me through stronger and stronger. Even though I am not reading much right now I am still hoping to be able to be around here more.

IT's good to see you and thanks for thinking about me while I have been gone. I appreciate that. Yes, getting the disability has been a huge stress taken off my shhoulders.

Hello Miss Becca -

Thanks for all the prayers. I am so sorry I never responded to your last e-mail that you sent me. I think now you know why, cause I was without internet for so long. I do feel really bad I never got it until now.  It was very  hard for me to survive with out.  It wasn't just internet, it was also TV (which I still don't have). I am just watching the DVD's that Ihave. It has been killing me not being able to watch the Olympics. My mom has been recording things for me. Which I am thankful for.

Lelu loves just getting out and about and meeting new people. It so cute the workers in the stores try to give her doggies treat, but with all her allergies she just can't have any old treat and then the workers feel so bad. But it's really cute. And the people around town are so nice. They always ask if they can pet her and of course I say yes and she just jumps in their laps and gives them lots of kisses.

Hi Cindy -

It's good to see you!!! Yeah, that was my fear when I signed up to work at the cat shelter, but I asked them to help me and if I asked to bring on home to told the adoption coordinator to tell me no. LOL And she said she could do that for me!!! So I got people on the inside helpe me out (If I am able to get back out there to volunteer)!

Thanks for continued prayers! They are always needed.
