I don't mind the car commercials that include dogs. ;) The Volkswagen one was fairly good (just the part with the dog training).

The only things I really miss when I skip commercial breaks with my PVR are the previews for TV shows and the movie trailers. Otherwise it's all noise and I might as well be cleaning or taking a bathroom break. ;)

I didn't think the SB commercials were very good this year. There were way too many car commercials and half naked women.

That reminds me of SuperBowl ad spending and how I heard that one ad had been produced for only $20. Good thinking for that company. Use the money for something more practical... I know marketing works, but SB ads are definitely on the side of excess!

I use ad-blocking in my browsers. There appears to be some on the desktop but I don't want to fiddle with Hubby's settings, so I do see a little here and there at iVillage.

On my laptop, Firefox has AdBlock Plus and Chrome has an extension for blocking (don't recall the name).

Sorry to all advertisers, but I don't like web pages so cluttered! Gimme clean, practically ad-free pages and I'm a happy computer user!
