So far we're having a quiet day at home. Started with a lazy morning with all of us in PJs till after snacktime. While the kids ate their snack I started on some cleaning - dishes, laundry (oops, that has to go in the dryer...) and sweeping. Then I listed the infant car seat on a local Facebook group and had Ben cuddling on my lap while I caught up on status updates. I must get down to writing after we're all done lunch!

Not sure who's in charge of dinner tonight - Hubby's been cooking a bit on his days off - but I do have a plan of hamburgers if needed (though I may need to zip out for the meat and any toppings we don't have on hand).

Tonight I'm hoping to write a bit extra and maybe I'll finally get to listen to The Message Amped, a Saturday-night radio show with harder Christian rock than is normally played on the channel.

I was really interested in tonight's episode because the company was Subway and I used to be a "sandwich artist" when I lived in Nova Scotia. :)

Dinner was really good and it looks like we have enough leftovers to take care of tomorrow's dinner. :D (Hopefully I'll get grocery shopping done tomorrow for this week and maybe the next as well - depending on how much the kids can handle for the length of trip. I've actually got a meal plan done for the dinners this week!)

I did have dishes to wash today, but will deal with laundry tomorrow. It helps when I can take a day off from some of the chores, especially with the focus on writing this month. (35,500 done, 14,500 to go by midnight on the 30th.)

Almost done watching the second Harry Potter movie and then maybe I'll be catching up with "Life Unexpected." (One or two episodes, not sure how far behind I've gotten.) I'll either read or play games while I watch. I actually got reading time this morning after I was kept awake around 5 am with a sore tummy (new acid meds aren't helping as yet). Now I'm a few chapters in and enjoying the book. :)

I always thought there was plenty of meat with the Subway sandwiches, especially on a BMT - that thing's loaded! You can pay extra for double meat as well if you're a Subway fan but want a bigger sandwich.

Me, I like the veggie selection and the sauces. My favourite sub is the chicken bacon ranch, but I also love meatball and used to order the melt a lot. I used to have wraps more often when I worked there, but for a while they used wheat wraps and they were awful. I prefer plain flour tortillas when I make a wrap sandwich!

I watched one episode of Life Unexpected last night and have one more from last week. Not sure if there's a new one this Tuesday, but I'm sure with the December break, we'll have lots of time to catch up on shows...
