Yay for reading! I have a stash of books here and when I went to the library I picked up another. I just can't help myself. :smileywink:

I hope you have a great day!

Wow, big gathering! Have fun!

Two more days until another month ends. When I was young, Time dragged its feet, but now that I'm older, Time has sprouted wings! :smileywink::smileywink:

Hi girls,

Sorry I have been MIA, I had 2 nephews for a week, plus my computer works off and on....sigh. I have been steadily working on the 5th Game of Thrones book, it is HUGE.

Becca, tell me about it, school starts in 2 weeks here. Since we go through a charter school, that means the kids go to classes starting Tuesday, August 16th. Oh boy!!! Is Tim old enough for Pre-K yet?

Today at church the first service I had a ton of 4 and 5 year olds (I think about 15 or more) and then 2nd service I had 17 three year olds!!! I am exhausted! Tonight the whole church is going to the Aquatics Center for a special swim night. I wish I could stay home but DD13 is meeting me there, she went home with a friend from church.... the boys are with their aunt and uncle overnight.

School starts here after Labour Day. Tim's first week is half-days, then he's full-day kindergarten! No word yet on when Ben starts preschool (the same free weekly program Tim was in till May) but I'll get a phone call.

Busy church services! I hope you got some time to relax before the swim night.

Yay, lots of fun!

Another iVillage friend lives close to MOA. If I ever visit her, we have to go shopping together. :smileywink:

Mil sent a book home for me with dh. It's a good thing, or I would have nothing to read. My books are available at the library though. I am going to try to get there this morning.

Wow, that is a ton of kids! I was in the nursery on the toddler side. I only had three boys in there. But when it was time for diapers to be done on the infant side, I had to bring the boys over there to and do all of the diapers. The other adult "helper" on that side never does diapers. It is aggravating. Especially when I didn't work with her and JJ would come home with a soaked diaper.

Julia's first day of school is September 6th. JJ's open house for preschool is that morning also. I then have my parents meeting there that night. His real first day is the following Tuesday.
