We had a bit thunderstorm on Monday night with a ton of rain. I'm expecting some grass growth now. We will see.

We had a good trip to my parent's house yesterday.  Today is speech at 9:30, then we have to go to the mall.  I saw a flea the other night, so I need to get medicine for the animals.  Julia likes to throw change into the fountain, so we will also do that.  JJ likes just rolling around in his stroller.  :smileyhappy:

Hooray for rain! Small amounts here since Friday's storm. After a very wet June, pretty much everybody wants the sun to prevail.

I'm glad you had a good day away. Hope speech and the mall go well. I would join Julia at the fountain. :smileyhappy:

JJ really enjoyed the fountain this time as well. He threw pennies in and sat watching it for awhile before he started to want to wander off.

Aw, that's cute. And it can be surprising when something holds a young one's attention for even a little while. :smileywink:

Today was a warm one and we were out of the house (ours, anyway) for much of it. I took the boys to my hometown, but there was no playgroup this week - must check ahead next time! We got to the library, the health food store* and the thrift store.

*(Yay, almond yogurt and milk-free chocolate for Tim and me! I will look for info on making the yogurt myself, but I should be able to get my mum to pick up the chocolate for me from time to time.)

Then we had lunch with my parents and my niece, who is really good with the boys. We stayed for a good visit, picked up some produce and supper at the grocery store, then zipped home with Slurpees!

I spent a lot of yesterday reading.  Now today I have to make a cake and clean the house.  It's good that I will be busy, I have no books waiting on my night stand.  I have 3 on the way to the library.

I just replenished my book supply :smileywink: but I will likely be busy since I was out yesterday. Plus I haven't done a good cleaning of the laminate for a couple weeks, just sweeping. That's what happens when I'm trying to keep us outdoors. :smileywink:
