Happy Friday! The wind is blowing this morning! I need to get to the grocery store and stock up! Then I will come home and fold some laundry, wash some laundry and watch movies this evening while working on a few knitting/crochet projects. There is always reading before bed! Have a great day!!!!

Ruth, I hope you had fun with your friends. Definitely need to catch up with them after a couple weeks! Good work catching up on laundry and groceries. Have a safe, warm, crafty and bookish weekend! :)

Angie, my boys have been disappointed lately because the snow is melting more than falling. Meanwhile, I look forward to warmer temps for the yardwork that needs to happen each spring. ;) I think I should plan to have one small knitting project and then a larger one on the go at the same time - that sounds like a great strategy that could work for me. :) Hope your Friday is productive and fun!

Slow start to the day so far, but that can be a very good thing. :) I actually seem to be less peppy in the morning than I used to be and have to adjust my routine to accommodate easing into the day!

After Tim was off to school, I got my Bible study done while I had my morning tea. I'm trying to cut back to one caffeinated tea, then herbal or water. Less caffeine might have something to do with being slower in the morning. ;)

After Ben's done with snacktime, I'm hoping I can get him out of the house without too much complaint and walk to the post office before doubling back for playgroup at the school. (I'll bring my knitting with me, hee hee.) While I love to be a homebody, I need to work on enough social time for Ben to get him ready for that aspect of going to school full-time in another year.

Then after lunch, I'll tackle dishes, laundry and bathroom cleaning. I have ground beef already cooked since there was too much in the package for yesterday's meatloaf, so I'm going to turn that into sloppy joes (with tortillas rather than buns).

Tonight I'm putting the boys to bed 40-45 mins early to go along with my time-change adjustment strategy. I haven't done the same for myself, but if I'm tired, I'll just go to bed early as I did last week. Since Hubby will likely be out with friends (Friday being his night out while mine is Tuesday) I'll likely do some audio editing with music playing in the background.

Now that I wrote you all a novel ;) I better get the kiddo ready and remember where my sunglasses are in case the sunshine stays for our walk! Have a wonderful Friday!

Hi ladies.  Sorry I didn't read everything.  I actually slept in until 7:30 today, so I am running way behind this morning.  I need to finsih up, feed furbabies, feed human babies and self, get some house work done, then go visit a few inlaws later today.  Tonight I plan on getting the kids bathed and into bed a bit early to try to help with the loss of an hour.

Tomorrow I am hoping to take the kids outside after church.  It is supposed to get into the 50's!  If enough snow melts, (and I can scoop the doggy poopies beforehand) they will have a fun time outside.  :)

Sleeping in feels nice except when it's followed by having to rush. I hope you get everything done today and the kids go to bed well. Time outside on Sunday sounds great! (I also have yard clean-up to do when we get out next.)

Two more sermons uploaded last night (had one to finish from previous editing time, then managed another whole one from the first Sunday of the year). I did some knitting while listening and also played a few different types of Solitaire on my computer. *Blush* I went to bed early, too. (Might not have trouble with the time change if I continue to be tired at what was an early hour.)

I woke up at about 6 and got the boys settled watching "Super Why" while I made pancakes. (They can be so energetic before breakfast and it wears this "old" woman out. ;) ) Then I had some time to read and exercise as they began some less-educational kids' viewing. (There was an episode of "Mighty Machines" in there this morning, which teaches them a lot, but otherwise they've been stuck on superheroes lately.)

We also took the dog out for a walk. Hubby's gone to play squash with guys from work and it seemed like a good time to get out in the sunshine. Besides, it isn't just the dog who needs exercise. ;) On our way back toward home, we detoured to check on the park where the local Easter egg hunt is held. Still looks like a fair amount of snow cover, but I'm hoping this month will bring a good combination of sun and rain that melts quite a bit. (The boys will probably still go to an egg hunt Easter morning in my hometown since the ILs like to watch them race around for candy, too. Meanwhile I get my Easter morning church service!)
