I didn't actually have music playing last night because the online radio station wasn't working for me (even though I'd been playing it that afternoon just fine). I could have selected some music of our own but I guess I got lazy. ;) Now I've got that station working and can have the volume louder if I want, since there are no sleeping kids. :) (They seem to like all types of music, btw, since I don't get complaints unless they wanted their favourite songs - "Catchafire" by Tobymac for Ben, and I think Tim still likes "God's Not Dead" by Newsboys.)

Crazy busy weekend here! Shopping yesterday for DH's birthday, dinner out, set up for church and then up this morning...off to church, stopped in at the store and had lunch and ice cream cake with our friends that are just like family. I need to make a menu plan/homeschool plan and get prepared to teach tomorrow! Hopefully I will be able to read for a bit before falling asleep...I did not sleep well last night! Hope everyone is having a sensational day!

Got out for 30 min walks the last 3 days....once in the sunshine, once in the mist and once in the cold and wind...but I did it!!  Went to church this morning and then took the paper to my folks....and visited a bit....nothing on tv tonight...going to read...

Saturday hubby and I put up more pictures  at my folk's place...looking more and more homey....

Angie, I didn't sleep well last night either - up with Ben before the time change and not asleep till a while later. I hope your reading eases you into sleep, might need to try that myself.

Ruth, good job with the walks! Enjoy your reading time. :)

Today was a good day despite not getting enough sleep. Got to church, made an easy lunch at home and got started on supper prep.

Then Hubby made a birdhouse with the boys and while there was a break for glue to dry, we went on a fruitless search for a winter coat for Tim, no winter apparel to be found. (Broken zipper on his coat that we bought in the fall. *Sigh*)

Once we got back home, I got lasagna ready for the oven and did a little audio editing while it cooked. We watched Amazing Race and Once Upon a Time, now we're finishing up with The Mentalist and I'll edit some more afterwards. :)

Didn't get as much editing done last night as I planned - Hubby had his work laptop home for the weekend and apparently needed to get something done before morning, so he encouraged me to pick more TV or a movie. We watched the latest Blue Bloods and I thought of Inkheart before it was done, a movie short enough that bedtime wasn't too late. ;) I really have to re-read the first couple books and then get to the rest of the series. Love the Inkheart world! I also like that the movie attracted big stars, so even though it didn't do that well at the box office, it has great acting. :)

Today was grocery day, though it seemed we picked up more items at Wal-Mart that aren't found in the grocery section. ;) (Socks for one, pants for another, a spare set of knitting needles and also yarn needles, oven mitts, and the list went on...)

When we got home, it was time to recharge with a little food, then I got Ben out to playgroup. They'll be closed for spring break next week and the one after, so we'll load up on social activities this week and I hope that we can still make it three times a week once we add in speech therapy starting sometime in April. (Ben needs to be around more kids to shed his shyness a little more!)

I brought my knitting with me, of course, so I did a bit more on the most recent dishcloth effort. I'll pick small projects like that for times out of the house and tackle bigger ones at home, like the slippers I want to start soon.

At home again, there was lunch, laundry and kitchen clean-up. Since we picked up Tim from school, I've been online but should get ready to make some BBQ-flavoured chicken strips to add to salad, and that will go with lasagna for a yummy supper of leftovers.

No new shows on TV and I'm not complaining. ;) We do have a movie from the library that should be appropriate for all, otherwise I'm cool with Hubby playing a video game since I could read, knit and/or edit during that time. (Maybe he was planning well with his recent bargain-bin purchase because some shows have been winding down or on break in the last week or so.)
