Sorry I haven't been around here much. I honestly did not read anything books this week. I just haven't felt like reading much, so I am mostly reading magazines right now. :(

Lots of productivity here this morning. Bible study "homework" after breakfast, multiple loads of laundry, basement rearranging (storage bins out of the way for plumbing repairs), shed organisation and the floor swept inside after all the dirty traffic in and out of the basement. Moved my bottle returns to the car and will hopefully take them in this afternoon and swing by the Salvation Army with a small amount of donations. Supper is chicken fajitas. If Hubby's out tonight, audio editing; otherwise, catching up on two History series, Vikings and The Bible. :)

I totally understand not walking for exercise when it's cold. I'm not big on being chilly when I don't have to be! ;) Hope you're able to get out often in better weather with the arrival of spring.

Good work on the embroidery, Angie! I can do cross-stitch, but long projects have a habit of being misplaced/abandoned, so small ones are a better bet. Hope that doesn't happen with my knitting, too. ;)

Hooray for walking and increasing the distance! I can go much faster without kids at this point in their lives, but it's fun to share with them my appreciation for a good walk and the exercise it provides. (Also reduces the amount of gas we purchase for the car!)

I ended up making pork steaks and potatoes yesterday. Maybe we'll save the craving for the weekend... ;)

Used to love embroidery.....not so much anymore....

Got our taxes done...woo hoo....and my folk's....Went for coffee this morning....and now going over to my folks for a bit.....

Then home and time to go for a walk...have been 'lazy' with the bitter cold weather....so time to get going!!!

No plans for the weekend...

I ended up not doing my errands today, but I did drive the kiddos down to McDonald's for some nuggets. Totally impromptu and they loved it. I finished my first ever embroidery project. A cupcake on a dishtowel. I am hooked. LOL! Now I want to embroider everything. I have printed out quite a few cute patterns. Dh and I have walked our mile today. Yay! Hoping to continue that and then go to 2 miles that has two big hills. Chinese takeout sounds delicious!

Have a good, busy day, Angie! Ours is light, no trip to my parents' place because they've been sick. Instead, trying a new cookie recipe, walk to the post office, and audio editing. Should get lunch on the table in a minute (pre-made because of the expected trip, though I might heat up some leftover chili for me and save my PB&J for snacktime) and then maybe it won't be too chilly after lunch for some yardwork. If it is, maybe some organising of the boys' toys (with their help, I hope) and more audio editing. Still need to plan supper because we've had less leftovers than planned this week. I'm craving Chinese takeout...

We had snow on Wednesday, nice way to ring in spring. ;) Hooray for taxes done, a good movie and the nature centre with the long walk! We haven't been watching Survivor this season - I think Hubby's getting tired of reality TV and I'm okay with that. Less TV might mean more reading time. ;)

After the last two days feeling like Spring, today I woke up to snow flurries! Wow! No accumulation, so that is good! Crazy weather! LOL! Today I need to pop in the library, the grocery store, take my dd to the horse rescue farm to volunteer and try and get the regular household stuff done. Busy day ahead! I hope you are having a terrific day!!!

Woohoo for getting the taxes done! Brrr that is a cold first day of Spring! The local park reserve and nature center sounds like a lot of fun! My two love going to places like that!
