It can be frustrating when a child is scolded for something they are allowed to do at home. I understand that the child needs to follow the rules of the school, but the teacher also needs to understand they are little, and having different rules is confusing.

For the most part, that is all I do on Sundays as well. Although I usually make up my menu and shopping list Sunday afternoon. But I am usually doing it while resting on the couch watching tv, (if the kiddos let me have the tv.) :)

Well, I am off to get some cleaning done.  If my haircut coupon ever prints, I will go get my hair cut either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.  I am going to get a lob (long bob.) I want it short, but not quite as short as a bob.  I was happy to see "my" yearly spring/summer cut has a name now.  lol

I totally agree about the different rules being confusing for kids. I bet the mud was just one more thing for the teacher to deal with in a busy day and she's probably encouraged to have clean hallways so the janitor doesn't work as long at night...

I think my yearly cut is probably about the same. The name is funny 'cause I think "lob" is originally a tennis term. ;)

I felt yucky yesterday afternoon and evening, maybe a hormone-triggered migraine. I'm taking it easy with food just in case something I ate contributed, but so far today is much better. :)

Glad today is much better! I am suffering from the barometric pressure today. Due for a storm to move in this evening....of course AF is being fiercely mean this month! :( Off to do a little bit of reading before making Cheesy Broccoli soup for dinner!

Hi...I'm still around....we spent a week in Michigan with our son and granddaughter...It was her 10th birthday...where does the time go?  and a baby shower....plus hubby helped son finish his kitchen....glass tile for back splash, grouting, and crown molding around the ceiling....I even got to help ...lol...plus I did some cooking while they worked....and of course played with granddaughter...We barely beat that major storm home...we got in about 7pm Monday night to light snow...and overnight we had 10 inches...so we got home just in time!!!

Now doing laundry, bills, errands, groceries, and visiting my folks...so pretty busy!
