Angie, I found Land Girls at my library! They have all three seasons, though it felt a bit too soap-opera for me after the first episode so I probably won't sign out another.

Maybe that assessment is just a reflection of my mood, not very energetic today and a headache lingering. I'm starting the 2008 Sense & Sensibility mini-series this afternoon for something more my style. ;) (I skipped the intro before the credits since it's more sensual than needed and the book doesn't even begin until the post-credits scene... Otherwise, this is my favourite S&S adaptation so far.)

I started knitting a new project last night using the leftover yarn I'd begun with when learning my first stitches. I think there might be enough for a rectangle I can stitch together as a pouch for my glasses (and sunglasses if I order new contacts soon). I may have mentioned in February's LTP that I initially thought yesterday of using the yarn for a double-layer coaster, but I wondered later in the day if a knit coaster is as practical. Might still try that at some point, but I really could use something cute to store my glasses in since they just end up on the kitchen counter most nights. And practise with my stitches is always a good thing!

Almost time to walk to the school to meet Tim. He's usually excited to see Ben and me at the end of the schoolday, but I wonder if there's ever some disappointment when the teacher mentions it's the weekend and she'll see the kids again on Monday. Poor kid must be torn between the opporunity to spend more time with his dad and the desire to play with his friends some more! Meanwhile Ben asks almost every day about going to preschool (though his current program is a weekly one) though I suspect the draw for him is the abundance of toys and not the people.
