Wow, the year seems to be passing very quickly! It's hard to believe my oldest has only two months left in his first year of school. And about this time next year, we'll be getting ready for kindergarten orientation with the younger one.

How's the weather in your area? Any plans for the month? Chat it up, folks! :)

I am off to get a bit of knitting/crocheting done. I haven't worked on anything in such a long time! Hope everyone is having a great evening!

I'm sorry your stomach is bugging you! Good that there's the bright side of lots of reading. I should pick something tonight while I'm waiting for a Karen Witemeyer book to return to my library - it was on the New Fiction shelf three weeks ago but someone beat me to it. ;)

Would the solar cover heat up the pool for you? That would be neat! No pool here aside from the inflatable wading one for the boys and they usually stay outside and just splash with their hands or grab buckets.

Hooray for a puppy! Someday we'll get another Toller. Maybe Tas will teach him/her the ropes so I have less to do. ;)

I haven't done enough knitting lately either. I started Tim's slippers right after finishing Ben's, but then I wasn't feeling like I had the brain power in the evenings. Gotta get over that!

They say that the cover would heat the pool by 15 degrees. I am a bit skeptical that we will get that much heat increase because we are surrounded by trees. Could help keep more leaves and debris out of the pool though. I loved when my kiddos were younger...what fun they had in their wading pool.

I love when the older dogs teach the younger ones what to do.  It does save me so much more time.  Z has claimed Jake as his own, so hopefully I will just be supervising his training.  ;)

I need to get back to my projects too. Last night I ended up grabbing the This Old House magazine and the third book in the Newpointe 911 series and heading off to bed. Maybe I will find some motivation to finish off the few rows I need to on a crochet afghan this evening.
