Wow, the year seems to be passing very quickly! It's hard to believe my oldest has only two months left in his first year of school. And about this time next year, we'll be getting ready for kindergarten orientation with the younger one.

How's the weather in your area? Any plans for the month? Chat it up, folks! :)

Even with all the thunderstorms this weekend, I have been able to get outside and even planted some flowers today! :)

Hi Karyn! Our new puppy, Jake is great. He is doing exceptionally well in the house breaking and praying that continues. DH has always wanted a Great Pyrenees or Border Collie...so now he has both in one dog! :) Yay for getting the flower and veggies out and double yay for walking or riding your bike every day!! Way to go! I need to get back out there and get moving again! Woohoo for your son coming home!!! Happy Mother's Day!!

Angie, good work with the planting and the dog training! Hope he starts sleeping through the night, maybe just an adjustment period to the new home?

We went to the fair yesterday, first time for the boys. They went on one of the kiddie rides (not being tall enough for most of them), earned themselves a couple small stuffies each and didn't eat much for supper. Today we went to church, had a relaxing afternoon (with reading time for me) and takeout for supper from a BBQ place in the city. I don't think the rain ever showed, seemed quite muggy though definitely not as hot as lately.

Tomorrow Ben has speech at 9, then we'll see about zipping over to my hometown to the car dealership - seatbelt extenders came in and they'll make the back seat a little more kid-friendly, especially when both boys are in boosters they can buckle up themselves.

Sounds like a great time at the fair and a relaxing Sunday! That will be very nice when the boys can buckle themselves. Jake did much better last night. Not as much whining. We gated him in the kitchen and other than a few little accidents he did well. Hoping that continues and soon he will be able to hold it overnight.

Whew, my day started an hour or so earlier than usual, but I am getting much more accomplished. It is a good clothes drying day, so I am trying to get a few loads out there. Cut a few beautiful irises to add to the flowers I received for Mother's Day....they really make the bouquet beautiful. Holding off on transplanting the cherry tomato plants and planting the herbs because they are calling for frost tonight. Crazy weather. Hope you are having a great day!! :)
