1. What's the worst thing about your Monday?

Having to visit the grocery store and spend money. ;)

2. What's the best thing about your Monday?

It's not raining yet, so we were outside after breakfast and now that the shopping's done, we'll get out again. :)

3. What did you do fun over the weekend?

Read and check out new TV shows. I like "A Gifted Man" and hope it sticks around! Also, I enjoyed the songs on the second "X-Factor" episode - not the auditions, but the pop songs between. LOL

4. What Bible verse is meaningful to you today?

Jer. 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

5. What's for dinner?

I have chicken drumsticks thawing, so I might bake them (Shake N Bake to coat) and then make mashed potatoes with homemade gravy. :) And for veggies... maybe some corn and a bit of raw veggies with dip. Hopefully I'll have time to whip all that up after the kitchen cleanup (since I do none on Sunday) plus I also want to make banana bread today.

Ugh to the schooling and a sick husband! Hope you get some time to relax once school's done.

We've seen the sun a bit today when I was expecting rain almost right away! I'm glad it's cooler here as well.

The boat and birthday party sound like fun! We stayed in, maybe conserving just a bit more energy to fight off the last of the cold that got us all? Hopefully next weekend will be partly out of the house and partly in, but all fun.

Your burgers sound yummy! I usually do chopped onions, but hadn't thought about how small. Must give that a go next time I make hamburgers. We're working our way through some fresh tomatoes as well. I hope we can grow our own next year!

Praying for the grandmas!

I had a brief stint in the church nursery, too - there was a visiting preacher and he didn't send the kids for Sunday school, just dove right into his message when given the mic. My boys did great at first, then Tim started wandering from his seat, so I decided toys were in order. I could actually hear the message if I stood in the hall, but I decided I'd rather sit down with the kids. I read a couple Psalms, helped Ben with a puzzle and then it was time to go upstairs!

Great choice of verse! I need to print that out to read and absorb!
