More Molly Issues

Had to take Molly to the vet again this morning cause she was throwing up during the night. So I take her in and they call her previous owner(who I have left several messages with)and ask what kind of diet she had her on. She told the vet that Molly has an irratable tummy and needs to be on a special wet food diet that only the vet carries. When I first got Molly I asked what kind of food she had her on and she told me purina dog food. Which obviously wasn't the truth. Well if my phone calls would have been returned I wouldn't have 3 vet bills to take care of....one of them being an emergency visit.

GRR to the breeder not calling you back and creating those three vet bills for you! Praying Molly is back to her lovable energetic self soon.

Also an animal lover and I'm miffed with this woman too. The only reason I can think that she'd withhold the information is that she thought she'd have a hard time finding a home for a dog with special dietary needs, but as you said, she let the dog suffer because of her decision. Molly and Jen deserve better!

Hey Angie -

thanks for the prayers. She is on the mend. Tonight was her last does of anit-nausea and she is loving her new food.

No Cindy -

I totally agree with your rant. I am one ticked off dog owner. Especially if she says she is a breeder. When she sells puppies does she just tell their future families lies about them?? I don't think I am going to recommend her to anyone.

Yeah Becca - I can understand that.....but I had told her my story with Lelu and she knew that she needed special needs as well, so she knew I was very capable of taking care of a dog wtih them.

That's what I was thinking as well.

I forgot that Lelu needed extra care as well. You're just the right owner for Molly since you've got the experience. I really don't know what the breeder was thinking!
