I'll be praying for the same thing Ruth!
At least we voted, thank goodness we still have that!
Becca - The cards I order are not that expensive. I take my own pictures, then use those to order cards on Walmart's site. Much cheaper then in a photo studio. I will be doing them as soon as the outfits get here. We didn't want to go out over the weekend, so we ordered the items online. The sale was good there also. :)
Karyn - We had some warm days here this week. Now it is back to being really cold. It was a shock to the system.

Today I am making butterfly shaped rice crispy treats. Cleaning under the living room furniture, and tonight is church night. Julia is so excited. It is pie making night! All the kids get to make a personal sized pie, then their parents bake it at home. JJ will not do well with this activity. So I volunteered to stay in the Rainbows room with him and anybody else that doesn't want to participate.

I've passed the 35,000 mark on Day 14 of the writing challenge! Wow! I'm super-impressed with how I've been sticking to not editing as I write. This is how published authors must do it, just crank out the first draft and let the momentum carry it along. I can be nitpicky and stuck in details and research later. ;)
Other accomplishments: Yesterday I made zucchini loaf and then honey whole wheat bread (dough mixed in the bread machine, then baked in the oven). Today I got garbage taken to the landfill and recyclables sorted for pickup. Also wrote a bunch, going off on a tangent with Christmas-related stuff 'cause my mind's been in a holiday mood. :)
Tomorrow we'll take my mum along for a road trip to the hospital where Tim was born. He'll see the pediatrician there because we don't seem to make much headway with the one closer to home. (Our family doc suggested the second opinion this summer to determine what's causing the digestive issues.) There'll be a bit of time at the mall after the appointment, for lunch and a wee bit of shopping. Tim still has birthday money to spend and I'm going to steer him to the bookstore for that. :D Then we make the trip back before dark and I'll likely be tired and not wanting to drive much for the next week. ;)
So happy that you're happy with your new pediatrician Becca. Pray that the new test results help find solutions.
Also yay on your writing!!
I go back to the chiropractor to talk about my back x-rays today.
Sunny and cool here, but should get to the 60's today.
