I am actually a little nervous about JJ and the tree. As for Julia, she is getting her own tree! She is going to have a 3 ft pink tree in her room. All her special character ornaments will be on it. She even gets to pick a new one this year. I figured if she has her own tree to decorate (and re decorate), maybe she will keep hands off the big tree :)

For someone who finds Elmo annoying, my husband can do a great imitation of his voice! I always thought Elmo was cute...

I saw nice decorations in Wal-Mart yesterday and thought about adding to our collection, but I think my tree is usually overloaded already. LOL Maybe we need some of them to break (not hurting anyone in the process) and then we'll go for new ones.

Do you have any plans for keeping the kids away from the tree? Aside from leaving the bottom of the tree bare or with non-breakable items only, I can't think of brilliant ways to make it safe to have a tree and not go crazy dragging Ben away every two minutes. I do remember one of my mum's friends put the tree in a playpen when her kids were little, but I don't think Hubby would go for that 'cause it's not exactly pretty. LOL

Ugh, that's something not to look forward to... Next St. Patrick's Day is 3 years since my grandpa died and in June it'll be 2 years since Grandma's death. I'm hoping my dad has many, many years left 'cause those were more difficult goodbyes than I expected.

Jen here from beautiful Washington State. Oh my gosh I love Seasme Street. I have to say that Big Bird and Snufalupagus are my favorites. The muppets are great as well. I gotta love the chef muppet guy and Beaker.
