I miss LTP! Anyone else have time to chat while things are being fixed in our new iVillage digs? ;)

Hubby's gaming night was cancelled (one of the guys is sick) so we're doing the usual TV evening routine, with Grimm right now. It smells really nice in the house at the moment because I made bread this evening. :D (In the machine since the oven was busy when I noticed our lactose-free bread supply was low. One of these days I'm going to give it a try on my own!) And there's also fresh applesauce in the fridge because I made crockpot applesauce today, which also made the house smell great!

I'm about 2/3 of the way through Emily's Quest. So good and very inspiring (since Emily's a writer and I'm working on it). I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow and work on some plotting of a new story, plus I have a snail-mail letter to finish...

Happy weekend, everyone!

I finished my snail-mail letter and started one to my great-aunt, since she's not reachable by computer and I'm not even sure if she has a phone in her room in the home she's in. I was happy to pull out some stationery for the second letter, too long since I've used it!

Hubby thought my applesauce looked gross. Well, it did turn out funny-coloured because it already had brown sugar and cinnamon, not the usual white sugar. The crockpot might have made it browner, too, not sure. (There was lemon juice in the recipe, but I forgot.) It's sooo delicious I don't care about the appearance. LOL

Praying for JJ to fit in really well at the new school and love it there! Remember, no matter where he's educated, God's got him covered!

Wow, snowfall expected here tonight! Usually it won't stick around long this at this point, but I wonder if we'll have a white landscape by the middle of November - it's gotten chilly quickly, it seems.

Sorry the applesauce came out the wrong color, but woohoo that it is still yummy.

Thanks for the reminder Becca.  I have been praying over the entire situation, and believe it is right.  JJ did a great job yesterday.  :)

The snow came this morning, but it isn't much and will soon be washed away by rain. The boys loved it, though, and had an excuse to try their winter boots. Now to find Tim a really warm coat for winter as Ben gets his old one...

Ben had his first official day of preschool (not registered in the spring, but he joined the classroom to play and have a little social time). He loved it! :D
