I miss LTP! Anyone else have time to chat while things are being fixed in our new iVillage digs? ;)
Hubby's gaming night was cancelled (one of the guys is sick) so we're doing the usual TV evening routine, with Grimm right now. It smells really nice in the house at the moment because I made bread this evening. :D (In the machine since the oven was busy when I noticed our lactose-free bread supply was low. One of these days I'm going to give it a try on my own!) And there's also fresh applesauce in the fridge because I made crockpot applesauce today, which also made the house smell great!
I'm about 2/3 of the way through Emily's Quest. So good and very inspiring (since Emily's a writer and I'm working on it). I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow and work on some plotting of a new story, plus I have a snail-mail letter to finish...

Another busy day on the horizon here.....some schooling, more laundry, more organizing, some cleaning and dinner along with a meeting at church this evening. I am throwing a chicken in the crockpot so that I can make a few dinners out of it. I have a small turkey as well that I might cook in the toaster oven this weekend. Lots going on! ;)
So frustrated with Iv right now. Can't get my new sig on, this very old one just popped up out of nowhere, on some boards the new posts don't float the threads to the top. Grrr
Ok, vented it out. lol
Cold weather here. Fire in the fireplace tonight. Going to start a new book tonight.

I haven't been able to change my siggy either yet. Hopefully that and other issues will be worked out soon so we're back to normal. I'm glad we're here at all. ;)

Yesterday I ended up making chicken drumsticks (BBQ flavour) and mashed potatoes. Yum yum! Today I was lazy on the food issue, so I chose frozen burritos and taquitos.
Got some cleaning done for Tim's birthday party here on Sunday, can probably do the rest tomorrow or Sunday morning. Tim also has a party to attend Saturday afternoon!

Easy day for me here. Been cleaning closets, hope to take a trunkful to Goodwill, maybe stop at Target to look at their small rugs that are marked down this week. Brought in 44 nice sized tomatoes last night. Giving some away and storing or canning the rest.
Yay for tomatoes! Just strawberries, plums and some apples for us this year. Maybe we'll have more homegrown produce next summer and fall.
I cleaned today, in addition to what I'd done last night, so our house is looking pretty good. Just tidying up in the morning and maybe one last-minute trip to the closest grocery store so we can feed everyone stopping by for the party.
