I have two prayer requests concerning Tim: First is that he had an urgent ultrasound yesterday to determine why there's a "pelvic mass" and if he needs surgery to remove it. Could be anything from a hernia to a tumour! Second is that he fell this morning, giving himself a fat lip and chipped tooth. I'm hoping that if it requires a visit to the dentist, it's nothing major and won't cause infection. Poor guy was really scared with all the blood and I'd love for that to be the end of it.

Aww, poor Tim. I am praying for the test results, his lip and tooth and for protection! He really has had a time of it lately. {{{hugs}}}

Scary for Tim & you on the ultrasound -- praying that the results will be good. Hoping the tooth is okay, too.

I am dealing with a lot of sensitivity & pain in one (or two) of my teeth right now. We are on vacation & I really don't want to have to go to the dentist while we are gone.

He also managed to get a blister from burning his finger when he uncharacteristically touched the oven as I took out muffins a couple days ago. Then both of us got bites yesterday after supper when we were outside. Some kind of gnat or biting fly, and he has it worse than me.

Not a good time to be Tim ;) and yet he's still a happy boy overall. The resilience of children!

I'm assuming it's hard enough to find a good dentist near home. On vacation is a bad time to have to go!

(We're going to try the dentist that most of Hubby's co-workers use. Even if they don't think he needs to come in for the chipped tooth (which Hubby deemed pretty minor once he saw it) Tim has never had his first visit... Naughty mum for putting it off!)

A brain aneurysm? I'm assuming so from the headaches and dizziness. I'll be praying for the doctors to locate and remove the aneurysm with no problems! My dad had a stomach aneurysm in 2002.

I thought of a praise item earlier but then forgot when I was back at the computer. What a sad memory I have! ;)

I'm very pleased that I fit into my smallest pairs of jeans and my shorts as well, so I didn't need to shop for summer clothes this year. I'm still fighting my sweet tooth, but I'm getting better! :)

Yes on the brain aneurysm. Ohno on stomach one. How did that one go?
Thanks for prayers and I will be thinking of your child too and praying.

I don't know much about the surgery itself and I was living across the country when he had the diagnosis, but I did get to visit while he was in the hospital (and that was the only time I've ever fainted, silly me). He decided to retire from the business he owned instead of taking a long break and having to ease back into it. I think he would have had to face that decision within a few years because of a slim margin of profit getting slimmer, so his condition actually helped in a way. He travelled and visited with family, discovered a love of novel-reading and had lots of time for the grandkids. :)
