Congrats to Melissa, who was the last to post in August! Here's your snazzy blinkie:

And now we face a new month. Are we up to the challenge of chatting it up? :smileywink: Whoever is last to post just before midnight Eastern on September 30th will win!

Let's get started! :smileyhappy:

I would want the craft to match too! That just makes sense! Yay getting more involved in choosing badges and things next year!

Today was one of those strange days for me. I woke up late and my quiet time wasn't so quiet....the rest of the day felt off. Sigh! The guys did show up and put in my new dog run, our friend went to our rental home today and did some painting, so things did get accomplished....it just wasn't me doing them. I was busy all day, but it was one of those days where it seems like I wasn't very productive. Hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day!!

I think he liked it a lot. Next time I'll check the pizza order form. It wouldn't be a lot of milk in the dough for the whole pizza, so maybe one ordered without cheese? Either that, or I'll pester Subway to use our dairy-free cheese on an individual pizza!

I don't like that kind of day!

My boys are getting very good at either sleeping till Hubby gets up, or being quiet during that time between my alarm sounding and Hubby's going off. This morning I did both the Bible study and my daily reading. It definitely makes a difference to start on that foundation and I can see why I've had horrible mornings in the past!

We underestimated the local interest in a new A&W restaurant opening up - we waited for an hour in line for supper tonight! Why did we do that?!

The food was really good, though. And the boys were pretty well-behaved, just needed to get to an open table at one point to relax their tiring legs. Hubby stayed in line with other dads and got some male bonding time. :smileywink:

Hopefully more places will be offering dairy free and gluten free options.
