Congrats to Melissa, who was the last to post in August! Here's your snazzy blinkie:

And now we face a new month. Are we up to the challenge of chatting it up? :smileywink: Whoever is last to post just before midnight Eastern on September 30th will win!

Let's get started! :smileyhappy:

Glad you were able to get the referral.  It is difficult to go through all of that.  Z had the same thing when he was younger.  He has since outgrown it, but does eat more fruits and veggies than when he was little.  I hope you can get some answers soon!

I was hoping Dh would do dishes tonight, but that didn't happen. I need to go soak the dinner dishes for a bit before washing them. It really isn't too bad to hand wash on most days. I made some cute dishcloths to use. :smileyhappy:

I am a little better today. Hopefully I continue to improve.

That is frustrating that the doc didn't seem to want to help.

I love my dishwasher. I lived here without one for 7 years. I don't want to live without one again.

I am going to try to go work out today.  I don't know if it is a good idea or not since I am still not 100%.  But besides my throat hurting, I feel ok.  Then I will pick up milk, and stop at the library before getting my little man from school.  :smileyhappy:

Hope you feel better! Hate to hear all this yucky stuff going around. Take it easy at the gym.

I know there are all sorts of machines in gyms around here, but I'll take a walk over most of that stuff any day. Walks on trails with a dog along are the best, if you can get 'em. :smileyhappy:

I agree, that's the best and good for mental health too!

But, as we age (that's me, lol) our muscles atrophy so I've got to try to do strength training twice a week as I no longer have young children to pick up and keep me in shape.   I try to work with weights at home but get distracted,  it seems easier at the gym where I feel I have to do it before I can leave. lol

I have a new strength training dvd but haven't tried it yet.

I think he just doesn't see it as a big deal, but since we live with it, it's a big deal to us. :smileywink:
