Congrats to Melissa, who was the last to post in August! Here's your snazzy blinkie:

And now we face a new month. Are we up to the challenge of chatting it up? :smileywink: Whoever is last to post just before midnight Eastern on September 30th will win!

Let's get started! :smileyhappy:

Ooh, nice weather. We're having some storms come through, starting yesterday. Lots of time with sun, too, so I'll have to get used to fall unpredictability and just get us outdoor anyway.

Church on the beach would be nice! I would go to the less touristy spots in Hawaii, based on a couple novels and the scenic shots I see on the (new) Hawaii Five-O. :smileywink:

Any plans for the time your husband is away? I'd keep busy with housework, girly movies and reading. (That's basically what happens Friday evenings after Hubby goes to his gaming night.)

Your dh goes every Friday night?

I think it would be fun to watch the original Hawaii Five-O sometime. I'd also love to visit Hawaii with the family someday.

Yep, Hubby's night out is Friday. Mine is usually Tuesday. Bible study when we have it (just three months out of the year so far) and then prayer meeting. This fall, it will be a longer time away for me since I signed up for an evening college course. As long as enough folks register, I'll be gone for a few hours while it's normally 60-90 mins.

Yes, we have decided to stay in this house. So, we desperately need a dining room! We can't do all the work this year, but we are going to try to do enough to at least make it usable.
