Ugh to the sore throat! Great idea to take lots of Vitamin C. I have been drinking OJ and eating Clementines.

I like hiking on trails as well. We need to train one of our golden retrievers to go with us!

My throat still hurts this morning.  I am taking a lot of vitamin c.  The dr checked out my throat yesterday, and it looked fine.  So I don't think it is anything serious.

I love going on the elliptical. I do the toning machines sometimes, but for the most part I just focus on cardio.

I went to the dr anyways, and was honest about all the stress and that it had caused some bad habits to resurface. I also told her I am back on the original diet that helped me lose my weight, and that next week I will be more able to get to the gym. She was not upset with me at all. Trust me, you know if she is upset lol.

I know there are all sorts of machines in gyms around here, but I'll take a walk over most of that stuff any day. Walks on trails with a dog along are the best, if you can get 'em. :smileyhappy:

Hee hee. Normally I don't think of impressing my doc, but I was happy that I could say I've lost weight since the last appt. Might not even need compression socks anymore because of the work I've done this year. Hooray!

There was a rusty truck/car tire rim in our backyard when we moved here, but we emptied out the ashes and now you can hardly tell it was there. Guess we can go to the lake if we want to roast hot dogs or marshmallows. :smileywink:
