Congrats to Melissa, who was the last to post in August! Here's your snazzy blinkie:

And now we face a new month. Are we up to the challenge of chatting it up? :smileywink: Whoever is last to post just before midnight Eastern on September 30th will win!

Let's get started! :smileyhappy:

How did the basement room organizing go? Ours is totally empty! :smileyhappy: I just need to put a cement sealer on the floor and it will be ready for storing all our fun stuff!

You put me to shame Angie.  lol

Haven't done mine yet.

Congratulations getting yours done!  What did you do with all the stuff in there?  That's what is keeping me procrastinating, all those decisions.

Nice job working the sound board! I've done the song lyrics once but the sound board is always manned by someone else.

I haven't attempted to shave at all, just scissors here.

Yesterday was church in the morning, over to grandpa's to spend time with him in the afternoon, ran home to change and have a small snack, then back to church for Christmas play practice.  Julia got a part!  She is "kid #2" and has a small line.  She gets to say, "Mighty God!."  :smileyhappy:  I worked the sound board again and managed not to break anything.  So that is good.   Haha.

The haircut went alright. I put his booster seat on the chair, strap him in, and put on one of his favorite shows. He still struggled and screamed while the shaver was on, but he did fine during the scissor trimming on top.

I hope the haircut went well. I tend to put a kids' show on TV for the boys when it's time to trim, then they sit on a low stool. They like the barber's cape that came with our clippers, so that makes it fun for them too and they'll sit still for a few minutes for me. :smileyhappy:

Yay for turkey on sale! I need to pick up a turkey for next weekend. My family is getting together on Sunday for a potluck-style pre-Thanksgiving dinner, then Hubby and I will roast our turkey on Monday, the actual holiday. (Yay for two dinners for me, hee hee!)
