I hope you are all having a great week! What are three things you are thankful for this week?

Here are mine...

1. I'm feeling better. I was really sick over the weekend, and it lasted most of this week too. But today I feel like I may be coming out of it!

2. My family. They have been so good to me this week, especially my husband. He really took care of things.

3. My church. I am so greatful that I get to work at my church and that they recognize all the volunteering hours I've done, by hiring me. It's just a few hours a week, but it's perfect for my schedule.

1. Very thankful that there are meds to help my mom and her memory issues...Bless the doctor.

2. Thankful for my hubby who has been my rock with dealing with my aging parents.

3.

I'd love to work for my church. Must see if there's a spot for that. I know they already have good janitorial staff and there's someone doing secretarial things, but maybe they could use another hand. I volunteered a bit in the library of my hometown's church. That was fun. :)

I'm thankful for...

- My community college. I went to a career fair there yesterday in case I decide to go back to school. It was fun to step into the same building I'd left more than a decade ago (how is that possible?! LOL) and chat with folks about the possibilities. Still not sure what I want to do, but I enjoyed the opportunity.

- My Bible study group. It's been a good two-month study so far (using "I Saw The Lord" by Anne Graham Lotz) and we have a busy month with a visiting speaker, then a ladies' night before we wrap up the session. I'm really hoping to continue my Tuesday night out by attending the prayer meeting on the same night for the rest of the year. (And maybe I can occasionally take Sis #2 out for coffee or a movie? Need something regular to get me out of the house on my own.)

- KLove! A huge blessing that influences me for good each day. I'm going to give back with a prayer pledge so the blessing carries forward to others. And I'd like to remember to make regular mention of KLove on my website. Only done that once so far, when I first started listening this year.
