I'm betting you could pick up a BPA-free plastic water bottle or even a pitcher that you could use without worrying about reusing plastic. ;)
We were making Nestea Singles in pitchers last year but Hubby has since switched to bottled water, so the pitchers are currently waiting for warmer weather when I'll make homemade iced tea, usually with herbal tea.
My solution to the large cans is to repurpose a large plastic bottle (like the ones that Florida Natural OJ comes in and that DH drinks like water!). Once cleaned out with plenty of hot water, these bottles will hold two of the large (48 oz) cans of V-8 (or any other juice, I suppose that comes in cans)
No added sugar would be a good thing for me. I don't have to test my sugar level, but I do get symptoms of hypoglycemia if I don't balance sugar intake with protein.
That's a great idea for adding it to your diet. Gotta keep that in mind when I visit the grocery store next - I'd probably check if there's a store brand in the small cans since I like the idea of smaller doses of veggie cocktail.

Hope you got all your errands done so there's time to read!
We were having a wind advisory yesterday and it was WHIPPING across the plains and COLD! So by the time I got my car tank filled ($3.69 a gallon! AAACK!), my hands were so cold I bailed on the ATM... Took me then entire drive home to thaw out!
Didn't get in any reading but I did get in my stitching! Taxes today.... AAARGH!

It's funny but V-8 is one of the few juices that has just the right carb count without added sugar (and I get the no-salt version too). And it's also one of the few juices that doesn't set of my GERD too!
