Weekend Plans?

So what are you all up to this weekend?
My youngest was invited to a "Spring Party", I have to call and find out if it's still on but if it is, I'll take him to that. I am not sure what the other 2 will do while we are there, but we'll find something.
Tomorrow we have church, we will attend one service, and then work the 2nd service.
I hope to get some cleaning done, and of course, some extra reading time in!!! I woke up so happy I didn't have to teach the kids today!!

Even though we have an early appt tomorrow for Tim's speech therapy, I'll try to get us in at the clinic before lunch, so a doc can check their breathing and make sure that so much sickness isn't causing more serious trouble.
Tim enjoyed himself for the first part of the lake visit but was adamant that he needed the potty at home in order to make a stink - and I hadn't thought to suggest bringing the potty seat since he hasn't cared up until now whether he goes in his pants... (But he is good about wetness.) He had some accidents and a fast drive home, but eventually all the mess was cleaned up and he was relaxed and seemed back to normal. Hopefully it was just a one-day thing and he'll be okay tomorrow, but I might want to consider having the potty seat travel everywhere with us. ;)
Oh, and the past three days have seen me start a new book each day: the Royal Diaries novel on Friday, the new C.J. Darlington yesterday (so good, review coming!) and the second Bug Man novel late today. :D I feel like I'm catching up with regular bookworm behaviour after being too busy!
Hi there Jen....yes , water heater went goofy Friday morning.
Swh and I got the offending heater out ...actually swh . I helped carry it out , took it to the store,
got another one and swh installed it Saturday. A 12 year one lasting only 7...bad.

Ruth -
So nice to have family coming over!! Hope you guys had a great time and that you were able to read as well.
Oh Aileen -
That is no fun having the water heater go out. Hope you were able to get a new one installed.
Brenda -
Hope you were able to get everything done you wanted to including reading!! :D
I've actually gotten to church two weeks in a row, so I'm not as frustrated as I was last fall when I didn't make it for two to three months. And now that I know for sure they record the pastor's message, I won't feel as if I'm missing as much - just have to get instructions on how to borrow or download those sermons!
Maybe I'll also get some napping and reading done since I'll be at home. :)
Yep Brenda...water heater installed and working. It is a pain but oh well.
Swh disconnected offending
Ruth, that sounds very nice!
Sweetrose, what a pain but it sounds like you got the new one in?
Becca, I'm sorry you have to keep missing church. It's so hard when our little ones are sick.
The party we went to turned out to be really fun. The lady had cooked some really good food, which my kids enjoyed a lot. Plus, they got to plant some seedlings, so that was fun.
And my siggy sure looks long and bulky compared to yours. LOL
