DYK the official beginning of winter hasn't occurred yet, but I say it's time for Winter DYK!
DYK I need to get out my Christmas decorations and pick a time to get a tree
DYK the Christmas music and movies are already up from the basement
DYK we also have four Advent calendars! (Felt one with pockets for a candy cane, flat paper one with Bible verses behind the doors, a chocolate one for the boys to share and one on my computer from Jacquie Lawson)

DYK I also shopped for Hubby :)
DYK I just need to check for a couple things for him when I shop for the boys - got a used item instead of new (no wonder it was really cheap LOL) and need an extra gadget to go with one gift
DYK I'll wrap his gifts during the day and the boys at night
DYK I'm almost done wrapping for my family too, just had to redo two gifts since everything's homemade and a first-time experience means the occasional oopsie! ;)
DYK aside from some cookies, that should be it for Christmas prep and I can move on to movies and reading! :D
DYK I stayed up late last night to get it done
DYK I still have a package coming with JJ's pajamas in them

DYK I found out my sister's boyfriend is joining us for Christmas this year, it'll be nice to finally spend time with him.
DYK I was invited to Andrew's parents for Christmas dinner, his mom is an amazing cook!!
DYK I'm thinking about doing some baking, I haven't baked in a real long time lol I'm thinking about trying to bake an apple pie, or maybe pumpkin..

DYK I didn't yet wrap the kitten's gift, in case I find something else appropriate for his age to add to the package :)

DYK dh's grandpa asked if we could go shopping for him and wrap the gifts

DYK I hope this Christmas isn't too hard on him!
DYK I didn't watch many Tom Cruise movies for at least a few years while he was doing projects that didn't appeal to me (eg Collateral) but then I saw Knight and Day
DYK I really loved that movie and while I still think the man himself is a nut with his Scientology obsession, I'm looking forward to good action movies from time to time ;)
DYK he isn't feeling well this morning and I'm hoping it's just a hairball on its way up and not something serious
