I can definitely relate to this one!

What are you reading this week?

What do you plan on picking next?

I’m still reading Erak’s Ransom (John Flanagan). Haven’t actually been picking it up much, so I’m making slow progress. My time seems to be divided between the usual household activities and then too many hobbies at once: writing, knitting, reading, and an itch to do a jigsaw puzzle as well, but when’s a good time to start? I’ll sort it all out, I’m sure. And if I get an email telling me it’s time to give feedback on a Harlequin freebie, then I’ll know how to prioritise the reading. ;)

Up next for books: The aforementioned Harlequin, Better than Chocolate (Sheila Roberts). I recently grabbed a book from the YA section at the library, so that’s a possibility as well! And I don’t want to go too long before I get back to Terri Blackstock and Susan May Warren. :)

At lunchtime (yes, I eat and read at the same time, easier with ebooks though) I picked up the Sheila Roberts book. Good hook, will see if it keeps up with the strong opening.

I am reading Wicked Business by Janet  Evanovich...It's good....Not sure what is next...working on challenges in a Goodreads group....so want to get a few done... :)  I sign up for most...and then get overwhelmed...but it is just for fun....so not critical if I get it done or done on time.... :)

I am reading Hazardous Duty by Christy Barritt. Next up is Farm City by Novella Carpenter or The Quilter's Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini.

I need to get back to the Newpointe 911 series! Hopefully after the next couple of books. :)

I didn't know there were challenges on GoodReads. Very cool! Glad you enjoy them, might want to pace yourself. ;) ;)

My worse habit is eating at the desktop computer. Reading is usually more productive. ;)

Do you get the same loan period as a print book? I think the ebooks available through our provincial system are 3 weeks, like interlibrary loans and the local library print books. My problem seems to be that it would take longer to wait for the few ebook licenses, so I go the quicker way and ask for the print version with many more copies (even for newer books).
