And onto another Jane Austen related book this afternoon, Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart (Beth Pattillo). :)

Started a new book tonight: What Would Jane Austen Do (Laurie Brown). So far it's really interesting!

I think I made it a little under halfway through the Harlequin book and I was a bit bored! I skipped to the end to be sure that the major conflict was wrapped up satisfactorily. I wouldn't mind trying another book set in the same town and giving Sheila Roberts another try, but this particular book was a miss. *Disappointed face* ;) Should switch to finishing the kids' book for review since it should be quick when I'm not reading aloud and we can always go back to reading together later. (Tim had a new wildlife magazine, so we thumbed through that and may read more for the next couple nights until we've gone cover to cover with it.)

And I forgot to say, I'm glad you're feeling better, Angie, and taking it easy to recuperate!

Brad and I have picked up the cold the boys have been mildly suffering from for a few days (sore throats, plus Ben's cough getting worse and Tim needing a lot of Kleenex). I'm relying on my trusty Advil Cold & Sinus for daytime hours because colds tend to travel to my sinuses (and in December I had one that stuck up there until the doc gave me Nasonex at the beginning of January). I anticipate getting more reading time because of this, alternated with checking a revamped hidden object game on Facebook (Jane Austen Unbound).

I was sick all day yesterday, so I got quite a bit of reading done. Still going to take it easy today, so there may be more reading for me. I just picked up One Thousand White Women the journals of May Dodd by Jim Fergus. I am not sure what will be next. Depends on which holds show up this week at the library. Maybe I will pick up a book from the stack I have to read here at home. ;)

It’s been a busy week, but I did get some reading time in, and not just at the boys’ bedtime. ;)

I’m currently reading Better Than Chocolate (Sheila Roberts). A day or so before I received an email from Harlequin about the survey, I picked up the free book they’d sent me. I have till the end of May to give my feedback, but I don’t think I’ll need that long. The book is okay so far, hopefully will pick up before the midway point.

With the boys, I’m reading Hunt for the Devil’s Dragon (Marianne Hering, Wayne Thomas Batson) which is another free book, this one from Tyndale. We’ve also begun the first Harry Potter novel as well.

I’m not sure what’s next after these books. Maybe something Jane Austen related? :)
