I stole a moment this morning

as I pulled you from sleep.

Buried my face in the top of your head,

Lovely! It made my eyes well up and think of my brood. My baby, not really a baby anymore, still cuddles me at seven. There is hope.

Fabulous poem! I think the very same thing as I pick up Adrien from his nap ... and I smell the top of his head, hoping I retain the memory of his scent forever, Easy to identify with this poem, hon. I "heart" this wonderful poem!

Such a lovely poem---it takes me back to when my first grandson was little and he would wake up from a nap, his curly head of hair damp from sleep and his little hands reaching out for a hug.

Thanks Pat! It's so hard to believe my "baby" is four already...my last year with him at home with me. *sigh* :-)
