I had delicious latkes (potato pancakes, traditional for Chanukah), but the freezing rain that fell durint the evening wasn't such a nice gift.

Did you have applesauce or sour cream with your latkes?

When I make latkes, I might

Oh, I love this, Roberta. I'm glad Stacey made them too, or we would not have been gifted with this.

I like this, Roberta, though I was sorry you had to deal with ice. I enjoyed the form, and will be trying that one soon.

Embrace change.

We always do applesauce. But this last time I used apple butter and butter cheese on top of that. Might be a new favorite.

I am in love with the adaptation. Brings me right into the kitchen. Nice job.

(and I agree, don't care if I am scraping pans if I get to enjoy the taste).

Since I shoveled icy snow for the second time today, after a big meal, and was thinking all the time about the calories I was burning, I think you wrote this for me!
