OMG -- I finally got in! Poem -- cee/pee?

I've been trying for weeks to get into PW; how the heck is everyone? Hoilday news? Let's here it! Poem below -- first one of 2013. Feel free to c/p, if you're still around!
It Was Amicable
We’d promised until winter,
but early summer tired us.
Towels chaotically packed
beside belts and shoes.
First Communion candles wrapped
along with christening gowns —
should we argue
over these precious white goods
or dissolve them
like prismatic sugar cubes?
Confusion reigns
as the clock winds down.

Hell's bells Pat! Strange happenings here of late? BTW! Belated but sincere, MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Been in a rut of late, grave sized. Never mind though I have heard from you once more.
Your poem...(here we go again,) first stanza, indicates a family commitment that maybe wouldn't happen? Second stanza says it Will happen. Third stanza reveals all, a Catholic happening that definitely Will happen. Fourth and fifth stanzas gives rise of hope to a poor irreligious sod like me that reason Will prevail especialy if "prismatic" is converted to "pragmatic". I totally agree with the last stanza., Gawd help me.
I had to log in twice just to reply to you. Beyond frustrating! I'm glad to hear from you -- shows me the spring in your clock is still in working order.
I finally got in - only 1 sign-in (the "keep me signed in" box obviously has never worked since the big revision) and 2 extra trips to your post before I finally reached the promised land of "add a new comment".
Your poem: a family break-up? Why the urgency of the clock winding down? The tick tock of the winding-down clock sounds ominous, not confusing.
I like "prismatic"!

Yo
Confusion as in "why did this happen; where did I slip up; where did the years go," and so on. Again it took two log-ins to get here. I HATE CHANGES!!!
How about allow them to dissolve? Like memories, thoughts...wouldn't we just allow them to drift away rsther than the act of making them dissolve? Oh, I don't know...just rings better for moi...but you know the drill..LOL, toss the idea if it doesn't fit.
Oh geez, I gotta make a point to log on PW ...been way too long!
