Daniel Radcliffe admitted that he was drunk while filming some scenes for the "Harry Potter" movies during a period in his life where he was drinking "nightly," the young star said in an interview with British celebrity news magazine Heat earlier this week.

He goes on to say that while he never drank on the set, he would still be drunk from the night before.

I'm not condoning it, but really... I would have never known, if he hadn't confessed! But I am glad to see he's talking about drinking nightly in the past tense; hopefully, recognizing his addictive personality will help him not fall into that trap!

In light of his confession, can you think of any scenes where he appeared, as he puts it "... just gone. Dead behind the eyes."?

This blew me away when I saw it. Although several months ago he alluded to some sort of a drinking problem in an interview that he gave. Like you, I'm not condoning this. But I do have to give him props for admitting that it was problem. I'm at a loss to pin-point any scenes from the movies where he says he was, "dead behind the eyes". This might be the excuse I've been looking for to schedule a HP movie marathon.
