Target to sell $999 Mockingjay pin

A limited number of 14-karat gold mockingjay pins will be available on Target's website starting at midnight August 18th. But it isn't the only bit of "Hunger Games" memorabilia for sale at Target. Also up for grabs will be a replica leather jacket worn by Katniss ($349) and a signed lithograph by 10 "Hunger Games" actors ($699).

Would you drop that kind of money on any movie memorabilia? I think I'll stick with collecting the books and movies and be satisfied with the little $20 version of the pin I saw recently. LOL

NEVER. Its all I can do to afford the movie ticket and book price. I can't imagine spending hard earned money on movie memorabilia.
The Elvis memorabilia craze completely astounded me. I just don't get it.
I'm the same way... I tend to stick with the bits and pieces of the things I like that I can afford, mostly books. Some people go at it as an investment, hoping that one day, they'll have something rare and unique. That's way too big of a long shot for me!
Too rich for my blood! I admit that when I read about stuff like this I always wonder, Who would buy that?
