MEN and Twilight

I was telling a friend yesterday how we're going as a group on Saturday afternoon to see Twilight. (I found some people who can't go Friday and/or will go again, yayy!) Anyway, I mentioned my husband was going with us and a couple gave me this look like I had a third eye on my forehead. Every time we go, we see quite a few men in there, so why the stinkeye? I didn't make a big deal with the friend I was telling (she's not going with us, ha) but why is it so unusual? I still get to drool over the actors (Tem Edward here!) and ooh and ahh at the appropriate parts, and he can stare at Alice all he wants. Win-win!

I think it's great that your husband goes with you. My boyfriend will watch the movies at home once they're out on DVDs, but he always refuses to go to the theater to watch them. Guess he figures it might reflect on his "macho" image... hah! At first it annoyed the heck out of me, then I realized I probably enjoy them more without him along. If he started making mocking comments, I'd probably dump the popcorn on his head! LOL
