Hi Readers!

What are you reading this week?

Any plans for Mother's Day, Sunday May 11?

Last night I started Second Homeymoon by James Patterson. So far, it a quick, enjoyable read.

I've just finished a history book (actual history textbook) and I'm looking for something lighter to read. I know that sounds weird but I was cleaning my bookshelves and home and saw an old school book from one of my kids. I picked it up and started reading it and got "hooked". Funny that I was never interested in textbooks back when I went to highschool.

I'm reading The Gingerbread Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke and I've also just started a re-read of Outlalnder by Diana Gabaldon. I read the first 3 years ago and then stopped.

So far, no plans for Mother's Day.

Answering my own questions:

I'm reading The Silvered by Tanya Huff. It's a fun political werewolf steampunk novel set in a fantasy world.

I should have asked "do you have any plans #that you know of#?"

Mother's Day weekend is also my daughter's birthday. I don't think we'll go see a whole nearby large city park covered in tulips, we did that last year. It's really beautiful! And crowded! But I don't know whether my daughter and husband have anything planned.

Happy Mother's Day!
