(*note: it's sorted newest to oldest, so you will eventually hit older books)

What's on your YA reading list? Seems like there are a ton of releases hitting shelves every week!

Not interested.  Too angst-y, sappy, and romance-y for me.  Same thing with everything on the CW (even Supernatural has jumped the shark, IMHO), & 99% of what's on the rest of network TV.

Then why are you down in the YA section? If you're not interested then you don't need to read the posts in this section.

As for me, next up on my YA list is My Life with the Walter Boys by  Ali Novak.

I had to go through a lot of pages, but I'm interested in:

Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick

Conversion by Kathleen Howe

Mermaid in Chelsea Creek by Michelle Tea

Lies My Girlfriend Told Me by Julie Anne Peters

Yaqui Delgado Wants to Kick Your... by Meg Medina

I read YA, just like I read a lot of genres. I try hard to avoid the angst-y, romance-y and sappy novels. There's a lot of gems that aren't any of those things.
