Splitting YA Books into Two Movies?

Does this bother you guys? It bothers me, though I can just think of two off the top of my head: HP and the Deathly Hallows and Twilight Breaking Dawn. Now it seems Allegiant will be broken into two. I haven't read that series yet.

Anyway, I think it bothers me more because I'm so excited to see the book turned into a movie (even though most of the time the movie doesn't do the book justice) that I get angry that my favorite part isn't in that half, or that they still cut out a favorite part for 'time' yet they've made two movies. :/

Yes, yes, a million times yes. It really bothers me. I'd honestly rather sit throug a 3.5hr movie than split it. Realistically I know this is done to make money for the studios. But still it would be great if they didn't split them. Breaking Dawn *really* bothered me. Especially where they ended part 1. It bothers me to this day when I'm watching the bluray too! Since I don't have a multi-br player, I have to get up, change the disc, etc. Royal PITA.
