This week's (late) AOTW is John Travolta. What are your thoughts on him? Favorite movie or show?

I've liked him since his Welcome Back Kotter days and his role in Grease was a classic, I think. Two other movies he did that stand out for me were Michael and Phenomenon, and I'm really looking forward to seeing his newest one, Ladder 49.

I like him also, I don't know if I would see a movie just because he was in it, but he seems to be able to reinvent himself enough to keep his roles fresh. I am looking forward to his new movie too, it looks like it will be a good one.

Yes!!!! Another one of my favorites....He was good in Pulp Fiction, Greese and Michael. I don't like him when he plays mean characters such as Face Off or The Punisher, although that one was kind of querky. Look Who's Talking is one of my favorite movies.

Yes, he can be a very convincing bad guy, can't he? There's something to be said for an actor that can be so good in so many different roles!

John Travolta seemed to be one of those actors that grew on me.

I am not crazy about most of his parts but I LOVED him in Phenomenon. That is definitely my favorite JT movie. I get a kick out of watching him do his dance moves in the old movies. Recently dd and I watched The Boy in the Plastic Bubble. I think that may have been his first movie role? He was sure young and cute in it. He even pulled off some dance moves in that movie while a teenager living in his "bubble" listening to his stereo!
