Anyone else excited?! I'm such a Twilight fanatic. I even went to TwiCon 2009 in Dallas (I live on the east coast, lol)! LOL I do know that they aren't the best movies and sometimes I get aggravated over what's been changed/missing from the movies, but still...

If you're a fan, thoughts? Where do you think they will cut off part 1 at?

Looks good! I have to admit that I haven't actually read the books (only an excerpt here and there) and I only started watching the movies 'cause my daughter convinced me to watch with her. I was actually pretty surprised that I've enjoyed them, so I am looking forward seeing the final two movies.

Oh I know this is a movies board, but the books are a thousand bajillion bazillion times better, lol. I've read each one (minus New Moon - the second, which is my least favorite) about 15 times, I'm not kidding. LOL

The movies, eh. LOL I just like to see them played out, although they really take liberties with things. Key phrases from the books are dropped or rephrased and it's annoying. I'm really glad Catherine Hardwicke didn't touch Eclipse and the BD parts. She had horrible direction in Twilight and New Moon. Now if only they could have ousted Melissa Rosenberg for the screenplays. She did a horrific job going from book to movie. :(

The casting is dead on though, for the most part. But I have to say, after meeting some of the cast members, they are truly a great bunch. I adore Peter Facinelli and think he is fantastic as Carlisle. But I've loved him since his Can't Hardly Wait days, lol! He is totally down to earth in person. (I chose him for my autograph at TwiCon '09 since he was the closest to my own age, lol! My sister met Jackson Rathbone and said he was super nice. But we both got to sit with Peter, Kellan and Alex Meraz at the meet and greet - all were sweet and not at all like the uppity stars you'd think.)
