1) Do you belong to any movie clubs, like Columbia House?

2) Do you cry during movies? What type of movie or situation tugs at your heartstrings most?

3) How much does a movie ticket for an evening show cost in your area?

4) How much do you pay for a VHS or DVD rental?

5) Do you ever go to a movie alone?

Have a great weekend, everyone!

My answers.....

1) Do you belong to any movie clubs, like Columbia House?

Yes, I do belong to Columbia House DVD club, but I'll quit it as soon as I get one more DVD and fulfill my commitment.

2) Do you cry during movies? What type of movie or situation tugs at your heartstrings most?

I try not to, because I feel silly, but, sometimes I do. For some reason, animated movies get to me most often! The loss of a parent or a child tends to make me cry, like in Bambi or Tarzan. But sometimes I just get hit by a sad scene or one that strikes me sadly, like when ET got left behind, lol! That's when I really feel silly about crying!

3) How much does a movie ticket for an evening show cost in your area?

Well, I haven't been to an evening show in ages - I'm a cheap, matinee goer - but I think they run about $8 or $8.50 most places around here.

4) How much do you pay for a VHS or DVD rental?

VHS is about 4 dollars (rounded off) and DVDs are about $5 to rent here.

5) Do you ever go to a movie alone?

Yes, I have gone to movies alone, and still do, now and then. Sometimes it's kind of nice! But I, as I said, usually go to matinees, I don't know if I'd like going alone as much at night - or if I ever have!

1) Do you belong to any movie clubs, like Columbia House? NOPE.

2) Do you cry during movies? What type of movie or situation tugs at your heartstrings most? Some movies make me cry..like Field of Dreams when his father shows up on the field!! Also cried at the ending of the original "Brian's Song".

3) How much does a movie ticket for an evening show cost in your area? I have no clue.

We haven't been to the movies in AGES.

4) How much do you pay for a VHS or DVD rental? We don't rent..we buy because I collect VHS movies.

5) Do you ever go to a movie alone? No WAY.LOL What fun would that be?

1) Do you belong to any movie clubs, like Columbia House?

Nope!

2) Do you cry during movies? What type of movie or situation tugs at your heartstrings most?

Oh I cry during everything. If something sweet happens, if something sad happens and if I laugh so hard my tummy hurts. I am a cryer!

3) How much does a movie ticket for an evening show cost in your area?

Depends on the theater. The cheep (second run movies) is $3.00 bucks a ticket for all shows, but they have tables inside the theater so you eat REAL food during the movie. All other theaters range from $5.25-5.75 (Matinee) and $7.00-8.50 (evening) the more expensive theater gives free refills on large popcorn and pop.

4) How much do you pay for a VHS or DVD rental?

I rent almost ALL my videos from the local library so I pay NOTHING! That is right rentals are free for 7 days and if no one has requested that title you can extend the due date another 7 days. $0.00 for 14 days. If I have to go to a real video store, the one I go to is $2.50 for video and DVD.

5) Do you ever go to a movie alone?

All the time. During the school year I ONLY do homework on the weekends, but every Sunday I go to the movies as a break from school work. Plus most of the time I decide I want to go to the movies it is right then and no one can go.

Welcome to the board! I'm impressed with tables in the theater! I don't think anyplace around here has that. The best they have here is stadium seating, which is nice - you never have your view blocked by someone's head.
