I rented this movie not really knowing a lot about it, but it was an excelent movie. Yes it is very brutal but it has to do with the story. I guess being part Irish myself, also helped me relate to the story.

The ending is very moving I thought, being that it is based on real events. So if you don't mind a little (ok maybe a lot) of blood. Rent this movie. I think it will be well worth it.

I watched this last night and agree with Lumia1977's review. This was a very good movie. Violent, yes, but it showed a time in our history that I don't know if many really know about.

And I also agree that the ending was very moving.
