We went and saw this yesterday afternoon. Thankfully it wasn't crowded.

Thanks for the review. I'm really looking forward to seeing this, since I did like the book a lot,

My 9 yr old daughter and I have both read all the books, so we went together on opening day.

I really enjoyed it; my only gripe is that they really didn't delve much at all into WHO the Half Blood Prince was, and only revealing it kind of matter-of-factly at the very end.

I saw this today and liked it quite a bit, although I agree with those who said it should have dwelled a bit more on the book and who the HBP was, the way they did in the book.

It's at the end of book 6, I re-read HBP before I saw the movie... I just HOPE since they turned Deathly Hallows into 2 movies they'll put that into the first one.

See, I didn't mind them not expanding on the HBP portion. I've never read the books, so I suppose it's my ignorance that keeps me pleased, haha.

I thought the way they delivered it was surprising and created some mystery to the HBP. I didn't really feel like I needed anymore explaining, but I also have no idea what I'm missing, haha. Maybe the next film might touch on it?

In the book, there was more mystery and speculation about it. Harry used it more and was more possessive of it.

I took Darrion to see this. He liked it. I have not read any of the books. I thought it was pretty good. I think my faves are the first 2 of the series though

I liked The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire, best.
