I saw this last weekend at the drive-in with dd and dh. I just wasn't excited about it. It was an ok mystery I guess and Will Smith was good as always but it wasn't scary and I guess I just expected it to be. My dd loved it. My 18 yr old ds saw it this week at the theater and he loved it too. Maybe I was just too tired and distracted. (Spiderman was playing on the other drive-in screen and I could see most of it too at the same time.) I'm curious what you all think when or if you see it.

I saw this today and really liked it! I thought it was certainly exciting, had some mystery and a little surprise or two, and, if not scary, it was a little bit creepy! But maybe that's just me.

And now, after this weekend, I think I'm movied-out! . . . For a few days, LOL!

DH and I watched I Robot today, it was really good. It made you think about if the robots were really bad, and if they were what was making them that way. I thought Will Smith did a great job in the role.

I agree! I wasn't sure I'd like the movie, but I knew I liked Will Smith, so I watched it and it was very good!

I, Robot was NOT based on the Asimov stories. The title was purchased from the estate of Asimov AFTER the movie project started and some of the ideas from the stories were incorporated into the movie. The movie was a mindless action movie made for adolescents, the stories are about humanity and empathy.
