Marvel Comics Kills Professor X!!

OMG... I'm a huge fan of The X-Men movies and I just read where Marvel Comics has killed off Professor X, the legendary leader and founder of its team of superhero mutants known as X-Men... The death of Charles Xavier occurs in Avengers vs. X-Men No. 11.

I wonder if there will be a movie version of it? On one hand, I can't imagine something that ground shaking not being marked in the film franchise... but by the same token, it would be hard to see, especially since he's killed by none other than... wait for it... Cyclops! Had he been killed by a foe, that would be one thing... but this?? Boggles my mind!

There is no way! How could they kill Professor X and even worse-how can they let him be killed by Cyclops??? This is so wrong!

Is there any way Wolverine can step in and save him?

Wow. I'm not a follower of the comics so really, aside from knowing names, I have no idea what circumstances could have brought him to this.

With that said, I don't think I'd want to see this on film. It took a very long time to get to this point in the comic and the screen versions are all still very 'new' in terms of them all coming together and fighting. They'd have to do a fast-forward 30 years type thing and that leaves all my faves out of it, with the exception of Wolverine, because, you know, he doesn't age as rapidly.

Wow though. Professor X. Wow.
