Interesting concept. It's not for me, I don't go to the movies often enough. Maybe when the baby is older and my mom can handle two kids. :)

Would you purchase this?

And ack! I did/do have a link: - I guess I forgot to hit ctl-p, lol. Sorry!

Probably not... I tend to wait for movies to be released on DVDs, except on very special occassions. My oldest son and his family might, though; they love going to the movies. Unfortunately, from what I've been able to tell, there aren't many theatres in our location that are in this network, at least not right now.

Maybe if I lived closer to a bigger city where first run movies were offered, but in the little burg I live in, I doubt it would be worth it. But I bet it would be a great gift for a college student!

Thanks for the link.  I have never heard about it.

Wow, the boards have really changed.  Guess I'll have to get my html book out.  I can't see anywhere how to add color in WYSIWYG.  Can someone tell me why the boards have changed?  Can you tell me how to add an avatar?  I tried, but it didn't take.

Hi and welcome back!

We recently took our message boards in-house, in part, because we wanted more control over the boards, so we could build the things into them that our members want.  Because we are building the boards on a completely different platform, we have run into limitations. Fortunately, we found solutions and workarounds to most of them, but there are some features we're still working on. If you'd like, you can check out the originial announcement our Community Director, CDJessica shared with us here:

Unfortunately, we have run into a few problems; it's probably not all that surprising when you consider just how huge this move was. There's a lot of information being shared on iVillage Help  but for right now, here's some info on the specific topics you've asked about. Thanks to our Community Technical Assistant, CMErin, I can share these links with you, where she created a couple of tutorials to help out. Wink

How to create colored text and other fun stuff

If you're trying to add back in your signature, here's how I did mine.

On the right side of the screen, under Quick Links, click on Edit My Preferences. This should load a page with tabs; under Preferences>Preference Options>, you should see signature settings. I had my siggy code in HTML saved; I just clicked on the blue link under the text field that says "disable rich-text" and pasted the coding in. Once that was done, I clicked on the same text link that had changed to "enable rich-text" and in a few seconds, my siggy appeared. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click save.

You may want to note that some people are encountering problems when trying to do this; some are getting a message that the siggy is too long, others get an error message that their email addy is taken, etc., while others are able to make the changes. The problems have been reported and they're working on it.

Hope that helps some and don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions or run into any problems. Our tech team has been working on fixes and such, but unfortunately, Hurricane Sandy may manage to impact just how much gets done this week; Jess is sharing what she can when she can here:
Hurricane Sandy & Updates

And I hope you'll feel free to grab me if you have any problems! You can hit me up here on the board, drop me an email at or Private Message me and I'll be happy to see what I can do!
