Rarely, my DH goes out of town & I love to indulge in a chick flick or a romantic comedy. Last week I picked "The Englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain" (a friend's suggestion) and was very bored and disappointed. I'd love to hear your suggestions! I'd prefer some that have been out in the past 2-3 years...if it's a new release, odds are I haven't seen it. Thanks!

Welcome to the board! So you want chick flicks, huh? Let's see....

About a Boy - very cute kid, and Hugh Grant!

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood - Sandra Bullock, Moms and daughters... Sweet, touching and funny.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding - You don't have to be Greek to enjoy this one.

Kate and Leopold, but you may have seen that. It was out in 2001 - If you haven't seen it, it's really sweet. And Hugh Jackman is in it!

That's all I can think of. Personally, when my dh has to be away a few days, I head for the horror movies, LOL!

Okay, anyone? jump on in here! I know there are more chick flicks out there!
