For $8/mo PLUS 4 free box codes, you can stream unlimited. OR you can rent for .99cents. That right there is awesome.

Netflix's streaming isn't THAT awesome, so it's interesting to see how the two compare.

Anyone with Netflix (I am)? I'm on the one dvd at a time and unlimited streaming plan.

Wow! I am excited about this. I have to admit my husband and I are movie freaks. We have Netflix (streaming and multiple DVDs out at a time) and Blockbuster on demand. We tried Blockbuster DVD delivery but it wasn't even close to being as fast as Netflix.

I will definitely give Redbox a try as it appears to be way cheaper than Netflix.

I haven't tried Netflix but use Redbox on occasion. I like the convenience and cheap fee, it's only something like $1.29 to rent a movie over night. They don't have a huge variety of selections though, so I would have to see what they will have available for streaming.

We have Netflix streaming and one DVD at a time plans. The Redbox plan sounds much more economical---IF you can get the rental movie back within the one day rental period. For us that was a problem when we used Blockbuster, the store wasn't that convenient so sometimes the movie got returned late. I've never used Redbox because there aren't any machines located super convenient to us. I really like the convenience of home delivery with Netflix so I doubt we would change plans.

It will be interesting to see if the selection of Redbox titles for streaming is as good or better than Netflix.

Yeah, sometimes I just feel too lazy to go out to return it. Where we live there are a lot of jughandles that you have to use so getting to one side of the street can be overly time consuming.
